2017 RACE DETAILS

The race starts downtown Terre Haute near 7th and Ohio and finish back near the Indiana State University campus.

There is a little more than a half mile between the start line and finish line. There a many parking options available within this area. You can choose to park near the start line and then walk back to your vehicle at the end of the race. Or you can park near the finish line and then walk to the start line. Or finally, you may choose to park somewhere in the middle.
         
The finish line will close at 11:00 AM - 3 hours and 30 minutes after the 7:30 starting time. Walkers and other participates who cannot maintain a pace to finish in this time frame should take advantage of the special 7 AM start. The early start will be chip timed and accurate finish times will be recorded.
         
There will be water stations every 1.5 to 2 miles. Every other stop will have Gatorade available.
 
AWARDS - Finisher's Medal for everyone completing the 13.1 mile course
                  - Overall Male and Female Winners
                  - Overall Male Master and Female Master
                  - Overall Male Grandmaster and Female Grandmaster
                  - Overall Male Walker and Overall Female Walker
                  - Male and Female age group awards as follows 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
*  minimum age to participate - must be 12 years old by 9/16/2017
 
There will be a bag check available near the start of the race.

Race Day Details:

Water and Gatorade will be available during the race as marked on the route map.

9:30 Pizza for all finishers and volunteers

10 AM Awards Start

Following the awards there will be post race party at the Ballyhoo. The first hour of drinks will be provided.

The ISU Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic will have clinicians there to field those early return runners then again at the two hour mark. They will offer stretching and Graston with scheduling for further injury screens.
