This inaugral race will take place on the grounds of a once secret military munitions compound, which supplied our military with explosives to help the United States win peace for the world during WW2. Our venue was then used to store many other military weapons throughout the early and mid 1900s. Now the Vermillion Rise Mega Park which has been repurposed for local industry retains many remants and evidence of Military ruins and manufacturing facilities!

Come join the Vermillion Trails Alliance at your most unique Half Marathon and 5k as you race on paved roads past old outposts, TNT manufacturing buildings, VX nerve gas storage facilities, and military shooting ranges.

The entirety of the Half Marathon and 5k will take place on a single loop taking you throughout the Military compound.
