It is that time of year again. In recognition of National Police Week, The Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police will hosting their annual Memorial 5k Run/Walk with all proceeds benefiting the Indiana Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). C.O.P.S. works with the children and family members of Officers killed in the line of duty to aid them in many ways during their time of sorrow. You may register online by visiting pcleo5k.com, or at the event on race day. On race day, registration is $25.00 and begins at 8:00 am and ends promptly at 9:30 am with a 10:00 am race start time.
We are changing the venue this year. This will be a timed chipped 5k run/walk that begins and ends in Robe Ann Park in Greencastle utilizing city streets and scenic DePauw University. Post race awards ceremony and luncheon serving pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans.
