The 6th Annual Swamp Stomp 5 Mile Run/Walk
The 6th Annual Swamp Stomp 5 Mile Run/Walk was held at Hawthorn Park today. 189 athletes gathered to participate in the event sponsored in part by Gilles Fitness, Coaches Corner, and Sycamore Insurance Agency. The event is one of local competitions produced by the Wabash Valley Roadrunners running club. Andreas Maher and Carla Yerkes were the overall male and female winners. Masters winners were David Scott and Ruth Ozman, and Grand Master awards went to Ed Pabst and Diane Brown.
The male winner of the Mile Run was Nathan Peters and the female winner was Jena Braun.
